North Somerset Councillor & Weston Town Councillor for Uphill

Helen has been a Weston Town councillor for Uphill ward since 2019 and a North Somerset councillor since 2023. Uphill ward is a very diverse ward covering Uphill Village, the Coronation estate, the roads off Devonshire Road up to the boundary at Quantock Road, and parts of Bleadon Hill and Oldmixon.

At North Somerset Council she is currently Chair of Health Scrutiny – She is passionate about our NHS and very keen to see the reopening of the 24/7 A&E at Weston General Hospital. She also sits on a number of other groups and committees including the Health and Wellbeing Board; the Placemaking, Economy and Planning Policy and Scrutiny Panel; the Employment Committee; Local Access Forum and the Tropicana Advisory group.
